Project Pulse
Every decision has a cost!
Project Pulse is a decision-making game about guiding a project from its first steps to final delivery while trying to keep four essential areas under control: budget, time, morale and quality.
Throughout the project, unexpected situations will force you to make decisions. Each choice affects the balance of the project in a different way, and what seems like the right solution now may create a problem later.
Keep the project alive
Every decision can affect one or more of four variables:
- Budget — Keep the project financially sustainable.
- Time — Make progress without losing control of the schedule.
- Morale — Take care of the people behind the project.
- Quality — Deliver something worth finishing.
There is no perfect decision. The challenge is learning when to protect one area, when to sacrifice another and how to live with the consequences.
25 decisions. One project.
A complete run takes place across 25 turns, moving through the different stages of the project. Events change as development progresses, so the problems you face near delivery will not necessarily be the same ones you encountered at the beginning.
Reach the end and discover not only whether your project survived, but what kind of project you created along the way.
Born in the lab
Project Pulse began as an experiment at Melpermo Space: a small laboratory for exploring a structured way of developing a complete web game with AI-assisted tools while keeping design decisions, validation and creative direction in human hands.
The experiment eventually became the game you can play here.
If you're interested in the development process, architecture and lessons behind the project, you can read the complete story at Melpermo Space.
* Game in: Spanish and English.
Project Pulse is free to play.
